The artist in question is, needless to say, Masayoshi Takanaka. This is a genuine Yamaha model that reproduces the lagoon blue SG2000 that Takanaka once loved, and is not a modified product such as a refinish. By the way, MT is an abbreviation of Masayoshi Takanaka's initials. The biggest feature is that it perfectly reproduces the lagoon blue SG that Masayoshi Takanaka loved from the late 1970s. In addition to the body color symbolized by Takanaka blue, it was born as the Masayoshi Takanaka signature model that many fans were waiting for at the time, with a non-pickguard specification (faithfully reproduced even the screw holes), white open pickup, extra-thick neck, rod cover with TAKANAKA logo, and non-bi sound system. The unit being offered for sale this time is a rare gem that shows almost no signs of use, and the instruction manual from that time is still intact. The famous Takanaka models are the SG-T, SG-T2, and SG2000 MT, but the SG2000 MT is the one that Takanaka uses in his live performances, and I think it will be extremely difficult to obtain such an excellent, beautiful model in the future, so I confidently recommend it to Takanaka and SG fans.
