Description: Original WW2 GERMAN map of MOROCCO entitled "TATA". It's headed "Nur für den Dienstgebrauch" (equivalent to a "RESTRICTED" British military map). Printed in December 1941 when Morocco was still under control by the Vichy French regime. In great condition with some pencil notes to the margin. From a large collection recently sold off by Edinburgh University - hence ink stamping to margin. (Following both World Wars, the government distributed excess stocks of Allied maps, along with captured enemy examples, to various national institutions such as libraries, museums, universities etc.) Will be shipped as per its existing fold lines.
