Description: WW1 British P08 Pattern Webbing 2 inch Brass Twigg Buckles An essential part of every set of P08 webbing, these buckles were used on the braces to allow the large pack to be secured to the webbing. They were also used on the rear tabs of the P08 belt. This design lasted into the 1950s and was used with the "L" Braces for wearing the haversack(small pack) on the back as seen in WW2. They also were used on many other items of large equipment harnesses as adjusters. These ones are in excellent used condition, solid brass with only some minor age discoloration. They would be perfect to complete a set of braces or "L" straps or to repair a belt. Each auction is for one pair of two (2) buckles.
