NM records are shiny. No writing, stickers or other markings are on the label. Also, when played, it will do so with no surface noise.Very Good Plus or Excellent (VG+ or E) - Except for minor things, this would be considered NM. Some VG+ show some signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches and minor warping that does not affect play.Very Good (VG) - Many of the VG+ imperfections are more obvious on a VG record.
