Therefore, The Smart Shopper and Buyer need to communicate before a purchase is made. The Buyer has to inform The Smart Shopper of the specifications as to what kind of Traxxas Competitive Dirt Track Ready RC Race Car they have to build. The two Dirt Track Options are Modified, or Sprint Cars. The Buyer can also choose a Street Ready Traxxas Race Car. The Buyer must initiate contact by selecting the Contact This Seller Option On The Listing, or message the store by finding The Smart Shopper on the U.S. eBay Website. www.eBay.com/str/thesmartshopper, or eBay User Name: hojncarseOnce the Buyer has contacted The Smart Shopper with the information needed to build the car a purchase can be made and the build process can begin. If the Buyer is not knowledgeable about RC Cars they can ask The Smart Shopper for help, which can be provided by writing back to the Buyer and asking them specific questions that will allow The Smart Shopper to determine what the Buyer wants built.If the Buyer does make a purchase before contacting The Smart Shopper the Buyer will be contacted immediately to determine the specifications that the Buyer would like applied to the car they purchased. If The Smart Shopper does not receive a response back from the Buyer within 36 hours The Smart Shopper will cancel the sale and issue a refund. The Smart Shopper will build and customize a Traxxas RC Car that will be ready for competitive dirt track racing like the car featured in the photos of this listing, which is the personal car of The Smart Shopper’s Owner. Traxxas Car Kits come assembled and the Smart Shopper will customize the motor, suspension, tires, gear ratio, paint and make the body aerodynamic. The body paint is the biggest specification needed from the Buyer. The car will be equipped with the basic remote, receiver and steering servo that comes with the Traxxas kit. The Buyer will be provided a battery pack, but not a charger. The Buyer can send a request to The Smart Shopper and ask to be provided a charger for the battery pack as a separate sale. Once a charger request is received The Smart Shopper will then send the Buyer listings with charger options that the Buyer will have to purchase separately. There are fast charging chargers that charge the battery in less than 10 minutes and chargers that charge a battery in about 20-30 minutes. There is also an option to purchase a battery discharger. The battery packs are not meant to be left charged for long periods of time. Dischargers are good for racers that don’t get to run the battery pack dead. The Smart Shopper’s Owner is a racer on the RC Dirt Track Circuit, so The Smart Shopper will build Dirt Track Race Ready Modified and Sprint Car replicas. The price spread depends on how far the Buyer is located from Reading, Pennsylvania. The cars are generally around 15 Lbs in weight and the package should be about 20X20X20.The build time of the Buyer’s car will be quoted once The Smart Shopper knows the specifications of the car that needs to be built. However, no build will exceed 20 business days from date of purchase. The Smart Shopper will purchase the Traxxas Car Kit after the Buyer makes the purchase of the car from The Smart Shopper. Once The Smart Shopper has the Buyer’s specifications for the car and the Buyer has executed the purchase as verified by eBay The Smart Shopper will then issue the Buyer a finish build date. The build time quoted by The Smart Shopper will be in reference to business days excluding Federal Holidays.If there is any delay after the Buyer has been quoted a definitive finish date the Buyer will be informed by The Smart Shopper through eBay’s Contact Buyer Option available to sellers in the seller hub immediately and an explanation will be given in detail as to why there is a delay in the build.The Smart Shopper will provide the Buyer with pictures throughout the build process via eBay’s Contact Buyer Option. The Store is able to upload five pictures with each message that is sent to a Buyer on eBay. This will allow the Buyer to see the progress The Smart Shopper has accomplished on the Buyer’s build. It also allows the Buyer to make comments on their car that they feel may improve their car and build process. A Buyer cannot change anything they originally stated, because The Smart Shopper’s purchase of the car and parts will be based upon the initial communication. A Buyer can gladly add on during a build process as long as it does not affect a part of the build already finished. Such as, if the body is painted it is done. NOTE: THIS PURCHASE IS FINALThere will not be a return on this purchase unless one of the three following exceptions is met: 1. The only return that will be accepted by The Smart Shopper is if the delivered car is damaged during shipping and is no fault of the Buyer’s own. 2. The Smart Shopper did not build the car to the Buyer throughly requested in writing. This is why The Smart Shopper is requiring communication in writing on eBay before a purchase is made under this item. If the shipped car is not built pursuant to the written specifications then The Smart Shopper will pay to have the car shipped back. When the car is received by The Smart Shopper it will be updated to accommodate the missed specifications and then The Smart Shopper will pay to have the car shipped back to the Buyer. The time frame on the update will be quoted the day The Smart Shopper receives the car back and evaluates the situation. The quoted fix period will not include the return shipping time. 3. The Buyer will only be issued a refund of money by The Smart Shopper if there is an inexcusable reason that the build could not be accomplished within a reasonable amount of time after the original quoted finish date and the Buyer decided they did not want to wait any longer and deem the delay unacceptable. RETURN PRODUCT MITIGATION:The Smart Shopper is going to mitigate the chance of a return by providing the Buyer with thorough pictures via eBay’s contact buyer option of the finished product for the Buyer’s review and approval. Once the Buyer gives the approval The Smart Shopper will ship the car to Buyer. The time that the Buyer takes to give The Smart Shopper final approval after the pictures were sent will not count against The Smart Shopper’s quoted finish date. If the Buyer does not respond to final approval pictures within 48 hours The Smart Shopper will see this as approval by default and ship the car. If The Smart Shopper ships the car to the Buyer on the basis of approval by default that Buyer has forfeited the right to claim any defects by The Smart Shopper.
