Description: Bought at an estate sale and the previous owner collected military memorabilia so I thought this was a shell case from the army but now I am not sure. I think it’s copper but could be brass. There is a nice patina on it, the inside is green. There are no markings that I can find but it is nice looking. Definitely from the 30s-40s because everything else was that timeframe as well and was in storage all these years. Some rust inside at the bottom and some warping on the bottom as well.
