Description: VTG 1930'S SCRAPBOOK National Tailoring Co.--Cards Newspaper Articles Poetry The scrapbook cover was used for the National Tailoring Company catalog in the 1930's. I believe there were pictures of men's suits and fabric samples once attached to the pages. The cover of the book is an embossed replica picture of the painting that was done in 1910 by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris "Hiawatha's Wedding Journey." The book appears to be made from a thick, heavy duty cardboard covered with a brown (leather-like) material. The pages are filled with cards, newspaper clippings, newspaper articles, poetry, obituaries, that are glued to pages (2 items not glued). There are 22 heavy duty pages, 7 of them are empty or partially empty. This book is a wonderful addition to any collector. So many cute cards, and newspaper clippings to enjoy and admire! Beautiful conversational book for a coffee table or library. Book measures approximately 15" x 19" x 2.5" Please note the condition of the book. It’s old and should be handled with care. Some flaking of pages and cover due to age as are the items glued to pages fragile especially the cards that are 3-D fold outs. Binding is in good condition. Feel free to ask questions or request more pictures. I have chosen USPS and UPS for shipping. I will use whichever one will be the cheapest and refund the difference. I am unsure how much it will cost to ship as the book is very heavy and an awkward size. I want to be fair on shipping and handling and make sure that the cost its covered.
