Description: Up for grabs is a hard to find, very good to excellent condition wool Pioneer Brand timber cruiser's coat, from the 1950s. These were issued to rangers and timber cruisers in the British Columbia Forest Service (BCFS), and also available to the general public. Made in Vancouver BC by Jones Tent & Awning Ltd. This jacket features 4 outer main front pockets, with the right pocket have a zippered pocket opening on the front of it. the left pocket has 4 pen/pencil slots on it. There is an inside left breast pocket. The rear of the jacket features a typical cruiser jacket pounh with flapped openings on both sides for easy access to equipment and lunch. All main fasteners are snaps. Unlined. 100% authentic and original. Although there is no sizing tag, the jacket appears to be a size large, as I am an XL and I can get it on, but can't get it done up. It measures approx 24" across the front, armpit to armpit and 25 1/2" across the back. sleeve length = 24 1/2 inches chest width - 24 inches back width - 25 1/2 inches shoulder width - 20 inches back length - 28 3/4 inches Calculated shipping, but if I can find a cheaper option once you purchase, I will let you know, and if you accept, I will refund you any extra.
