Description: This is a gilded Mid-Century Pixie Elf, Hollywood Regency Style. The item is possibly made of papier mache and covered in a gold leaf/gilded finish. The pixie has crystal prisms hanging from his hat. The pixie was made by a company called ARP whose products were sold out Marshall Fields and was produced during the 1960's and 1970's. Leaves are attatched to the bottom of the pixies feet. The piece is in good vintage condition except the left hand thumb is attached but damaged. The gold leaf is well preserved with some evidence of wear related to the age of the piece. Pixie is around 14" tall The shelf is also in good vintage condition, structurally in tact. Back left corner of the wooden top piece of shelf is slightly damaged. Shelf is around 7.5" tall . Shelf has a "made in Italy" sticker on it and two hooks to hang it on a wall.
