This doll was purchased in the early 1980's. We purchased this new and has been stored in my mother's doll room, in the closed box since purchase. From a smoke free home. Update: A couple of dolls in my collection have had their heads and limbs become detached from their body, just due to age, so I have taken the precaution of re-stringing this 8" doll. The cost at a Doll Hospital to do this is $20. I have done this for no additional charge, as I want you to be able to enjoy this doll for a long time. So the head, arms, and legs have a nice firm movement, just like new, and you won't have to worry about re-stringing this doll for many, many years to come!
