It is dry clean only, and needs to be dry cleaned. The estate is came from was a non-smoking, pet free estate, but it has an odor that implies that the piece has been in storage. There is some discoloration on the ivory color at the wrists, but I am unsure if it is just the fabric or if it is staining. There is some staining inside jacket and lining, which can be seen in photos. Because this was found in estate sale I am unsure of it’s age. It has shoulder pads & it’s cut implies 90s, or as far back as 80s. The jacket features beautiful and whimsical embroidery of lions and other animals, giving it an outdoor and 80s/90s vibe.
