This vintage ornate bracelet features gorgeous green chrysoprase stones. Each round cabochon is centered and bezel-set into each of the five filigree panels. Manufactured by Danecraft, whose founders immigrated from Italy, it is no surprise that the design gives an Italian, even Etruscan flavor to the bracelet. The gilt sterling panels are connected by three incised links on each side of a panel. The bracelet has a half-panel on each end so that when the ends meet, it appears to form a whole panel, except there is a push button in the center for the discreet tongue-and-box clasp. The bracelet has a safety chain for added security. Stamped “STERLING” on the inside of the clasp and “STERLING DANECRAFT” with a circled R in the middle in an oval on the back of one panel. It was there that the family became well known throughout the region for their ability to design and make jewelry for royalty and wealthy families.
