The maker (Aparicio) of the La Madrileña, left Spain during The Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) w/ some tools & went to Mexico during the conflict & it's aftermath. He opened a shop but returned to Spain eventually by the 1960s, leaving it in the hands of the staff. (A label is shown). The maker of the Tatay Tomás, is world renown as is the Tatay family of Valencia, Spain for their many instruments which they started making in the 1800s.
