Vintage Bell & Howell 1641 Double Feature Film Projector Dual 8mm and Super 8

Description: This listing is for a 1973 Bell & Howell double feature 1641 super 8 and regular 8 mm movie projector. The item is used but in good condition. It shows normal signs of wear and tear. There are minor scratches and scuffs. I have not tested this recently with film but there is a video of it being tested and having film ran through it I will provide the link at the bottom of the description. I was able to plug the projector in and it turned on. The lamp worked and the motor worked. I was able to see the real inside the unit spin, the instant replay button work and popped up the little reel. It displayed on the interior movie screen as it should and it also was able to project out the door when opened. I did notice when it was projecting on the interior screen it looks as if there's either a crack in one of the mirrors or there is something like a cobweb or something in the way of the projector. I tried to find where the crack was coming from but I could not see it on any of the lenses or mirrors that I could see inside the unit. When the side door was open I could see the worm drive working and it did not look like there was a crack in the worm drive at all. I know this is an issue with some of these old projectors. In the listing you are getting the movie projector the plastic cover piece and it comes and its original shipping box. It does not have any of the cartridges to load the film into the player. Those are purchased separately. If you purchase this item I will ship it in its original shipping box but if you would like to not have the shipping label attached to it and it be put into another box to ship please let me know that before you purchase it as I will have to adjust the shipping charges to account for a larger box. Please look over all of the pictures in this listing as they will show you the condition of this item in much greater detail than I'm explaining here. Please remember that this is an old vintage electronic device and items that have been sitting for 40 or 50 years can become brittle and they can break at any point. I cannot guarantee that this item will work for any length of time. You are buying this item as is with no returns.
