Description: This Native indigenous Barbie doll is the first of a series of the Dolls from around the world collection. this one is wearing a traditional outfit inspired by one of the tribes, with Indian artwork and beaded fringe and soft leather moccasins. She is wearing braids and beautiful earrings. There was a time that I thought I would set the Barbies in my Christmas tree and make it an international tree, I never got around to it and have kept this doll in its original box created in 1992. This doll is highly desirable being the first in the Dolls of the World Collection. The back of the box gives some interesting facts regarding the customs of the indigenous people, a proud heritage due much respect and love.
