This doll has some awesome features that are pretty hard to find on vintage Barbie these days! To spoil the surprise: no ankle taps, no earring holes, and lots of thick platinum hair!! Barbie here is extremely photogenic and her head is in amazingly preserved condition. Her hair is very glossy and full. Her hair is a thicker than usual for the color magic, paltinum, and titian hair texture dolls. I dont believe her hair has ever been played with too much as the original band was present but crumbling, so a fresh one has been installed for you!! She has lovely dark and thick dramatic lashes, with cheerful, minty shiny face paint as well. The only flaws with her head is some light pale dots on the back of her head and her hair seems to have had a slight trim! Original bow is still bright pink with no fading!! No earring holes, no neck splits. Barbie’s body is in good displayable, vintage condition. Her body has great pink coloring overall!Her rump is stamped Japan and both knees click and hold 3x each!!She has all her fingers and toes, and has no ankle taps at all!! Her fingers and toes do have some pink polish remaining that go so cute with lot of mod outfits!! At the buy it now price, you receive the doll, hair bow, coat, hat, and Japan boots! This vintage clone ensemble is nothing short of showstopping!! It is crafted of a glowing red cotton velvet and real fur and is a sort of mish-mash of a lot of Barbie’s’ greatest hits. The fur sleeves pulled from Golden Groove, the silhouette and brooch placement inspired from Music Center Matinee, the hat from Julia’s Candlelight Capers, the choice of red velvet might could harken back to 900 series and Silken Flame. It also has a heavy Japanese Exclusive vibe. Analysis aside, the set is in displayable, nice vintage clone condition. Original snap present, complete and working! The stitching is strong on the hat and coat with no rips or tears!! Fur trim is genuine and delicate. Tagged with paper label inside. Fur has some areas of loss but not easily visible on display!! Silver purse is bright and shiny with white bead closure! Boots are stamped Japan Mattel and show signs of stains, age and play, but display well still. If the doll is sold on a buy it now, she will arrive with the hair bow, coat, hat, purse, and boots. If she is sold on a best offer, she will arrive nude. Barbie and her outfit could probably benefit from a a deep clean, however, any dirt or discolorations on her face, legs, arms, and clothing have not been attempted to be cleaned or removed and all alterations will be left up to their new owner!! As photogenic and stunning as she is, I promise you the photos did not do this doll any justice compared to how she is in real life!! She will absolutely be a shining star in your collection!
