Description: This is a large cloth covered beaded wood Figure from Cameroon from about the 50's. It is 37 1/2" tall, 9 3/4" wide at the shoulders, the head is 5" wide, the chin to the top of the head is 8". Is a heavy wood hand carved wood figure under the fitted brown cloth and covered with sewn glass bead designs all over. It is in very good condition on the front with some wear on the butt and back of the head. It stands upright by itself, with a 1/8" shim under the heels and weighs 13.5 lbs. Quite a striking African Sculpture.
