Description: Holy moly!! This vintage 1990's or Y2K Cache maxi dress gown was the height of glamor in "my day", sigh. It's a classic empire style with black triangular breast cups that have pads inside them, a brightly colored long skirt with both a zebra-ish and leopard-ish print in lavender, purple, black, white and shades of teal, a high slit on the left side, ruched purple fabric under the bust, a sheer purple lining that also has a slit in it, and spaghetti straps that criss-cross in back. Gown closes with a side zipper and is fully lined in the sheer purple fabric from the empire waist to the floor. The bust measures 32", empire waist is 28", natural waist is 28", slit is 30.5" long and length is 62" Maxi dress is marked a size 4, and it's not kidding. Sizes were less flexible 25+ years ago. The fabric content label is kind of confusing. It says the "Self" is 98% polyester and 2% spandex. I think that is the bust area. Next, it says the "Combo" is 100% silk. I think that must be the colorful zebra and leopard print outer skirt, while the sheer purple lining is 100% polyester. The side zipper is a little sticky, but the internet says you can rub bar soap on it or a little cooking oil. I also trimmed a few threads, but there are no stains, holes or seam issues. Overall, tiny but glamorous vintage Cache special event party cocktail maxi dress gown is in VERY good shape!
