Stone is smooth with mitred corners, prong set with claw prongs. Lovely carnelian orange coloring. Very detailed bar links set with sparkling marcasite stones culminate at center front with flower blossom and leaf motifs. Tongue & safety clasp disquised in a bar link at back for 'all around'look. Excellent design and skilled quality work on this European, most likely German, necklace. Prettier than my pics. Great bridal / wedding necklace. Beautiful older vintage/nearly antique condition. I have not polished the silver and leave that to new owner as desired. Carnelian stone in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or visible damage, no edge nibbles-looks gorgeous. Tongue clasp and safety latch working properly. Did not find any missing marcasite stones, if I missed any they're very discreet. Looks & feels great on. Measures approx. 18" long with additional 2.75" drop. Carnelian drop with scrolling frame approx. 1-1/2" x 1-1/8", carnelian stone approx. approx. 5/8" x 1/2" w..
