I have multiple 825 cases and despite the jagged threading this case back screwed down and unscrewed without issue on all of them. And although technically not correct it also screwed down and unscrewed on my 895 cases. That said no guarantee is given that it'll work perfectly as it should on your 825 case. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "BULOVA" and "STAINLESS STEEL 666 FEET." The inner edge is stamped "623004" followed by "N1." The inside of the case back is stamped "GG" followed by "825" and "SWISS."
