Description: For sale is this beautiful 1968 Bulova Snorkel, commonly referred to as the “Devil Diver” due to its 666ft water resistance rating. This watch is in phenomenal condition for its age, showing a beautiful patina on the dial and lume markers. This watch was fully serviced earlier this year, and the 11ALACD movement is running good as new. The watch is completely unpolished, showing all of its original case wear from decades of use as a tool watch. Even still, the case is in remarkably good condition, and is one of the best kept vintage watches I have seen. The crystal has been replaced with a Bulova NOS Hesalite crystal with magnifier. The crown was replaced at one point with an Accutron crown, but works great as is or could be replaced with a Snorkel crown. The watch comes on a Hodinkee leather strap. This watch really is special and in beautiful condition. Its 35mm size, rich patina, and bright case make it perfect for daily wear. It is freshly serviced and ready for more years or use.
