Description: Vintage 1967-1969 Polaroid Automatic 250 Folding Packfilm Land Camera Made in Germany The Polaroid Automatic 250 Land Camera is a folding Packfilm Land Camera that was part of the 100-400 series line of cameras. It is similar to the 100, 350, and 450 models. It lacks the electronic development timer of the later (higher-numbered) models, but early models of the 250 have a larger viewfinder window than the later Zeiss-Ikon rangefinder models. Both models of eyepiece are functionally identical but the earlier model has a larger window at the rear. The camera boasts a three-element glass lens, 114 mm at f/8.8. Its electronic shutter fires from 1/1200 to 10 seconds. Atop the Automatic 250 is a Zeiss Ikon rangefinder with automatic parallax correction. It is an aperture-priority camera, allowing no manual setting of exposure. The Polaroid Automatic 250 Land Camera was manufactured from 1967 until 1969. It was replaced by the 350 model in 1969. At the time of its release, it retailed for $160.
