Description: Vintage 1960s Margaret Keane "Best Friend" Framed Print For sale is an original vintage Margaret Keane "Best Friend" framed print featuring a "big eyes" girl holding a poodle in her arms. The print image is in perfect condition, no scratches, marks or dings. It is "signed" Keane at the lower left corner of the print. The original frame has a few nicks/dents on the outer wood section (see photos), the cloth inset has some minor staining due to age and the fabric corners have separated over time (see photos), the gold edging around the print is in excellent condition. There is a tear along the top of the paper backing (see photos). The overall framed size is 24 1/2" tall x 10 1/4" wide; the open images area measures 21 1/8" tall x 7 1/2" wide. The original Turner Wall Accessory label is on the back including a tag with item # and print name. I purchased this from the original owner and it has been in my personal collection since the early 1980s. Photographs Are Of Actual Item. Please review all photos for condition details.
