Vintage 14K Gold 5.0 tcw Fire Opal Diamond Pendant Chain Necklace 18.25"

Description: Here is this super beautiful mid to late 20th century vintage solid 14 K yellow gold pendant and chain necklace featuring a incredibly beautiful 21.3 mm x 11.8 mm oval polished natural fire Opal, carefully examined under magnification this is a very translucent and beautiful Opal with incredible color play at every turn, it has a wide array of greens and yellows and orange and a little bit of red and is simply one of the prettiest opals I have ever owned. It measures 21.3 mm x 11.8 mm and it is 3.3 mm deep and I have put the measurements into a online gem calculator and included the pictures. The online gem calculator gives it 4.73 Ct and there are 7 full cut round brilliant diamonds in a crown over the top giving the ring a total gem carat weight right around 5.0 . The diamonds are all G color VS1 - VS2 clarity and all very securely set. On the back it has a sturdy frame and a double Bale. This is a magnificent Opal pendant attached to a 18.5 inch vintage rope chain with a good sturdy old-school type clasp, total weight 6.5 grams and the pendant itself measures just a little under 1 inch top to bottom.
