Description: This vintage 1956 instrument is AC operated for rapid and accurate measurement of total x-ray dossage in international roentgens. Also used in conjunction with suitable timing device to determine average x-ray intensity. Manufactured by Victoreen Instrument Company of Cleveland, Ohio. It has a dust-tight electrometer with a viewing microscope system, a lighting system in the microscope which illuminates measurement scale, and the on-off indicating red light, and necessary operating controls. All are contained in metal case.Includes metal case, parts, and instrument manual from May 1956. Although electricity runs to unit and illuminates both internal and external lights and scale, its operating capability is unknown and UNTESTED and may need calibration, so sold AS IS.
