Description: WONDERFUL authentic Native American hand-crafted ornate sterling silver and turquoise bear paw or bear claw dimensional ring, size 7 1/2, sizable. This beautifully crafted ring is 1 3/16” long by 5/8” wide and weighs 7.7 grams. This is an exceptional Native American artisan hand-crafted ring. It features one of the most important symbols for the Native American…..the bear, bear paw, or bear claw. In Native American culture the bear paw symbolizes resilience, strength, self-assertion, direction and power. It is said to remind people that they have an inner power that can help them overcome obstacles. The bear claw symbolizes protection, strength and a connection to the bear. It is often worn by people who want to be leaders. Bears are a prominent figure in Native American culture and are often depicted as guardians, teachers, leaders and healers. They are also associated with good medicine, courage, wisdom and hard work. That being said, this ring was obviously crafted by a skilled artisan. The inset design has extremely detailed texture. The depiction of the bear paw and/or claws is nearly perfect in its execution. This ring is set with a very rich blue-green genuine turquoise cabochon that is firmly bezel set at the base of the paw and it has a wide, comfortable shank that is sizable. This ring is, surprisingly, not signed. It has been professionally tested as solid sterling silver and the turquoise has been verified by a certified gemologist. This ring is guaranteed to be Native American crafted.
