Description: Van Briggle Pottery Vintage Water Nymph Floor Vase, Purple/Blue Large figural floor vase, depicting a nude female clinging to a group of flowers and leaves. Deep blue-purple glaze. The finisher's mark dates this piece from the late 1980s. Less common form in a beautiful shape and color.Condition: Factory grinding chips at base edge, with an associated hairline crack on the underside of the base. The hairline is not visible when displayed, but the edge of the chips shows. No other chips, cracks or repairs. No crazing noted. Marks: Incised conjoined A's logo, Van Briggle Pottery, Colo. Spgs. Colo., LS (for Loretta Short) finisher's mark, and large handwritten NS in black marker over all.
