Description: Hello, I bought this postcard in the early 90's. The USS Saratoga CV-60's home port was Mayport Naval Base in Jacksonville, FL. Many of the crew members over the decades ended up making Jax or The Beaches their new home. Every bartender, waitress or waiter in Jax knew at least one crew member. The Saratoga was decommissioned in 1994, but the stories, adventures and connections will live on forever. NOTE; This will be mailed using the newer 'Ebay Standard Envelope' method.
