Description: H30/31 Brazilian Solex Carburetor that fits single port engines 1966-1970 VW Beetles and 1971-74 Dual port engines with an adapter you can purchase on E-bay from the larger parts dealers. I took this carburetor apart for inspection and cleaning and noticed the threturn spring bracket so I made another one and fastened it on and used a new spring. Other parts that needed replaced were the accelerator pump diaphragm and the top gasket. The idle circut and the main jet were blew out with carburetor cleaner and I mAde sure the passageways and jets were open. This carburetor has has new top screws, base gasket, and mounting hardware. After reassembly I gave it a good polishing to make it look better. This Carburetor has no warranty as I don't know it's age and I can't properly test it. You';ll either get a good running carbuerator, or you;'ll have a lot of new and used parts that you can use with Solex PICT Carbs. I think the price of the carburetor helps make up for this.
