Description: Very nice copy of the original 1976 pressing of the self-titled debut LP by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, on Shelter SRL-52006. The disc plays beautifully but there is a slight flaw, which is that is is very very slightly warped, just a tiny bit. Plays just fine except a couple of light bumps at the beginning of side one that stop after only a few times. The rest of the time there is no issue with this warp. It isn’t some dramatic thing that makes the needle jump or anything. Just a very tiny rise, and only on side one. It plays completely fine on side two. Aside from that it is a lovely copy, with only s light scuff or two, and some of those superficial streaks that come from the acid in the paper sleeve, but they are not damage or wear at all. Really aside from those couple of opening light bumps it plays just about flawlessly, with maybe the tiniest crackle between a couple of songs. I’m making it sound less good than it is. Really it’s a beautiful copy. The cover is likewise very beautiful, with only a bit of corner rubbing and soft creasing at the upper left. Aside from that it is crisp and clean and beautiful. A very very nice original copy.
