The alarm function works great. It's a fun and conversation starting. There are two crowns. Crown at 4 o'clock position winds and sets the watch as normal. The crown at 2 o'clock position winds and sets the alarm. Pushed-in winds the alarm. Pulled out sets the alarm (turn counterclockwise only). The alarm is very noticeable and lasts for 5-10 seconds (depending on the wind it got). Notice that the upper crown has golden color, and the lower crown has a silver color. The watch band is genuine crocodile (from Vietnam).
