Measures about 5” x 7 ¼.” Hardcover has wear, as seen in photos. Pages have creases, small edge tears, and soil spots/smudges. First few pages are loose, with separation and netting visible. Missing the Frontispiece although the tissue protector is present. Previous owner’s inscription, dated Christmas 1887, and a second, different owner bookplate, affixed to a front end paper. Has some pencil writing in margins, and marks and parentheses around text that can be easily erased.Note that I have described the book as best as I can.
