Each book measures about 7” x 10 ½.” Set weighs almost 7 pounds. Volume One is 298 pages; Volume Two is 371 pages. Books are in beautiful condition for 1883. Hardcovers have some wear, mainly around corners, edges, and spine areas. Pages are lightly tanned from age, have some light soil spots and a few very small page edge nicks.
