Maker-- Super Clean Rare WWII Korea Parkerized ( Stainless Steel ) 17J Waltham Military Watch 17 Jewel 6/0-B as pictured . Came from a Jeweler's- Watchmakers estate that had jewelry stores since the 1930's . His store in California was closed in 1970 . Case is marked Boimondau ( I believe this was park of the Wakmann firm ) made in France with a case reference number on the inside . The outside is marked with Ordinance marks " US No. Grade WG . No serial engraved on the case . Has a NOS period original canvas band . Case Color-- satin silver - grayMovement Type--Manual Jewels-- 17 , 6/0-B Running--Yes--Estate item with no service records available-service -cleaning and or adjusting may be necessary-no mechanical warranty is included-sold in as-found condition.Untimed. Watches offered without warranty but have been tested to be in running order using the following method-watches are wound up one day and then checked to see if they keep running the next morning-approx. 24 hours. Functions are also checked-date -day-timers functions etc. Any function problems that we find at the time will be noted or corrected. Watch cases are sanitized by steam and ultrasonic cleaning methods so that the new owner won't have the previous owners dirt and grime to deal with. If for some reason the case can't be cleaned we will note that. Dial Condition-- Beautiful dial and hands - original plastic crystal to the case - lightly age tintedCase Condition--very good - Band-- period original NOS canvas strap .
