A great gift for a new Catholic; a priest or seminarian, or any young man or woman. Perhaps you know of someone who would benefit from this 20th century saint who is especially helpful in bringing people back to the church; or helping with spiritual challenges. If you have friends or family members who have left the church, ask St Pio for help!St Pio is the patron saint of January blues (cabin fever); adolescents (teens); stress relief, and civil defense volunteers. Saint Padre Pio is a saint of the 20th century; there are still people alive today who remember him and the miraculous stories that surrounded him. Father Pio was born in 1887, the son of a shepherd. He entered a novitiate at 15 and joined the Capuchin friars at 19. He was ordained a priest at age 22. He had many health problems all his life. He received the stigmata in 1918. He became well-known in Italy and founded a charity hospital. Word was spread of his miracles by American soldiers returning home from WWII. It was said he could bi-locate; during confession could read the conciences of those to whom he ministered; and could see and speak to his guardian angel and other angels. A truly fascinating and inspirational person which makes this chaplet a nice gift for anyone struggling with faith or suffering with illness or special needs. The prayer cards which come with our rosaries, medals and pictures are home-made, created using a "greeting card" program on a computer and printed in full color on nice quality paper. Although they are not like the usual smaller professionally printed prayer cards, most of our customers prefer them since they are like a pamphlet with 4 "pages" and several images, prayers, patronages and often other information about the saint or Catholic devotion.

scarlet020100 Store
