It accepts either 21700 or 18650 batteries using an adapter for the smaller 18650. It comes with a high quality 18650 battery. The power switch is located on the side of the laser for easy access. It's a push on / push off clicky switch, not a momentary switch. Superior Run Time Duty Cycle: This laser can be run indefinitely at full output without overheating.
