Signed Jesse Alexander photo of Scottish racing driver, Jim Clark, regarding the camera after the grueling 500 kilometer 1960 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. Clark finished fifth in the race. Clark is a legendary driver: F1 World Champion in 1963 and 1965, and won the Indianapolis 500 in 1965his third attempt. The photo was taken just after Clark had been told that two fellow English drivers, including his teammate at Lotus, Alan Stacey, had been killed during the race. Photo is lithographically printed and signed below the image by the photographer. Print is in very good condition with a bit of edge damage and wrinkling in the lower left corner, and minor wrinkling from handling or storage in the upper left. The image itself is in excellent shape, and would mount, mat and frame beautifully. Measures 11" x 14" (28cm x 36cm).
