It comes with base bar, extensions, pads, and can be set up in a variety of ways. The first component is the carbon-fiber base bar. The handlebar clamp section is narrow and measures 31.8mm, which is standard these days, though it is designed to work with the PRO Missile Evo Stem. The bullhorns measure 40cm center-to-center with 147.5mm of reach and 25mm of drop. The forward sweep is 21-degrees and the grip length is 140mm. The base bar is molded into a wing shape for aerodynamics, while the handrests are flat for both aerodynamics and hand placement. Plug-style bar end brake and brake/shift levers can be installed into the ends. The bars are designed so both cables and wires can run internally through the bars. There are two sets of holes in the bar through which the extensions can be bolted to. Narrow is 11.3cm from mounting point to mounting point. Wide is 18.2cm. The extensions measure 370mm and can be adjusted to be as short as 150mm in 15mm increments. The pads can be installed in any of ten positions on the bars. You specify which version you want when ordering. Finding your fast, comfortable position can be a challenge. Thanks to the bike and your desire for speed, you want the bars as low as possible, but too low will cost you mechanical efficiency and too high will cost you aero efficiency. These days, most want the base bar as low as possible, and then raise the extensions to where they’re comfortable. This kit allows you to do that. You’ll set the height of the base bar first, which is often slammed or in line with the top tube. Then you add spacers for height, and the bridge for security. The bridge, thanks to the bolts, will stiffen the stacks of spacers and give you greater control and confidence when hammering.This is a riser and support kit for Missile Evo base bars only. There are two widths, Narrow and Wide, which correspond with pre-drilled holes in the base bar. Narrow is 11.3cm from mounting point to mounting point. Wide is 18.2cm. The bridge itself is 5mm wide.
