Engravings by William Radclyffe (1783-1855) and Henry Adlard (1700-1893). Landscape scenes of Wales countrysides. All have some hand coloring. All have been professionally framed in Tampa, Florida, using acid free materials and UV protecting glass. Frames all match and all are ready for hanging. Minimal wear on frames. Below is the information on each individual artwork. All artist and engravers were born in or near Birmingham UK. 1. Lake of Tal-Y-Llyn. Between Dolgelly and Machynlleth. Artist David Cox (1783-1859). Engraving by William Radclyffe (1783-1855). Published in Thomas Roscoe’s 1836 book called “Wanderings in North Wales”. 2. Flint Castle by J. Wrightson. Engraving by William Radclyffe. Also published in Thomas Roscoe’s book as mentioned above. Note: I was unable to find information on J. Wrightson, however, there may be a connection with Roscoe’s book as it was published by Wrightson and Webb in Birmingham. 3. Tal-Y-Llyn. Merionethshire. Artist Henry Gastineau (1791-1876). Engraving by Henry Adlard (1799-1893).
