Description: Our Extract made from Wild Harvested Self Heal grown and harvested on our VVRanch. We do not use any non organic pesticides. We mix 75% Glycerin and 25% water in the extract. COMMON NAMES: All heal; Blue Curls; Brownwort ; Carpenter's Weed; Heal-all; Prunella; Self-heal. The common name "self-heal" derives from the use of some species to treat a range of minor disorders. It is reported to have an antiseptic and antibacterial effect and to be particularly good in cases of food poisoning. Highly revered herbalist Keewaydinoquay used self-heal to pull heavy metals out of the body. The small common garden weed ground ivy (Nepeta hederacea) can be combined with self-heal for children adults or animals with elevated lead levels in their bloodstream. Self-heal has a mildly bitter taste and is cooling and drying to the body.
