Description: The RTAK II is a super large survival knife featuring a 10.25" blade made of 5160 carbon steel with a flat finish for protection. The thick, substantial Micarta handle is removable for cleaning. This knife is large enough for any task you throw at it! The Ontario RTAK II is a survival/utility knife designed by the professional survival training team Randall's Adventure & Training (RAT) and manufactured exclusively by Ontario Knife Company. It is designed for Wilderness Survival - Military Operations - Law Enforcement - Utility Use - Hunting, and any other task requiring a sheath knife. It's comfortable enough to be carried full time. The sheath has a combination PALS/MOLLE/Belt Loop system on the back . You can effectively use the top PALS strap for a belt loop and can change the placement and size using the webbing. There are two PALS straps due to the length of the sheath; both using heavy duty snaps to secure the end of the strap. Metal eyelet holes are provided for a leg tying point with a lace (included) fitted through the holes. Twin straps hold the handle of the knife securely while carrying. An expanding pocket on the front is kept closed with a plastic snap-buckle. An elastic strap keeps the pocket neat and tight with whatever is inside. The blade fits safely and easily into the kydex lined sheath. Both of the knife retension straps are adjustable to allow the user to tighten or loosen the grip on the knife. This knife has been meticulously maintained and retains a sharp, ready-to-use edge. The original box and paperwork are not available.
