Description: Civil War Model 1850 Foot Officers Sword. The ricasso is marked "C. Roby. & Co. W. Chelmsford, Mass.". The grip, guard and pommel are all tight. The leather grip is 75% complete. The twisted wire is complete. The beautifully etched blade is straight, unsharpened, some nicks, a darkened patina, has small pitting on the lower third, and the tip has broken off.
