Description: I am listing this for a friend that is a Antique military collector. From what I've been told and researched, this is from WWI. It's a Pilot's Air Service Lapel Pin. It has the correct Robbins markings on the back (see photos) and is sterling silver with gold letters. Not sure what karat the gold is. This does have wear from over the years, as you can see along the edges. From from what I've researched this is what is called the ribbon version of this because of the dropped points of the wings towards the center. I know several manufacturers made these for the army during WWI, and Robbins is one of the harder ones to find. Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer them as best as I can. See all photos for condition and measurements. I can't find another one of these that is listed for sale or one that has sold recently. Because of this, I'm unsure of the value, so I am adding a best offer option to the listing. Thank you.
