The actual cable is essentially the same as that on the Couple 3 (both have very flexible jackets but are identical otherwise, except for the RCA male plugs, which are truly unique: they lock down by turning a built-in ring for maximum signal transfer and guard against accidental damage caused if the connection dislodges. Technical details: they use multistrand OFC (oxygen free copper), perhaps the best gold plated RCA plugs ever devised, very low capacitance (80pf), are 39" long, and have very high shielding. In short, they are very neutral and replicate the source very well. Quantity discounts: 2 for $275, 3 for $375, all 4 for $475. Please note that 2 of the cable pairs are definitely a 9, but the other 2 have slight yellowing of the white jacket at the strain relief only, so they are perhaps an 8.5.
