Unique Design: Zinc-coated surface treatment effectively prevents rust, prolongs the service life, does not affect the welding at all. Feature: Our Rear Frame Section was designed to repair the frame at the bump stop over the rear axle. This part is 24.75″ in length and fits between the rear fuel tank crossmember and the rear shock cross member. The Rear Frame Section comes completely assembled with the rear axle bump stop mount and is fully welded by our AWS certified welders. This frame repair kit does not come with a new urethane bump stop, either a new urethane bump stop can be installed or you can use your original bump stop by removing it and remounting it to the Rear Frame Section after installation using the m10-1.5 weld nut provided.We’ve engineered this frame repair section with the “DIY” in mind, jus remove the original bump stop mount from the frame using a torch, plasma, or cut-off tool, then weld the Rear Frame Section to the upper most part of the frame.
