Description: RARE! Set of 2 Vintage Homer Laughlin Trellis Pale Yellow Tea Cups & Saucers / Coffee cups w/ Platinum handles! Rare and beautiful vintage late 1920's Homer Laughlin Trellis Pattern Tea / Coffee Cups and Saucers in a beautiful Pale Golden Yellow glaze with platinum handles. Very hard to find pieces, especially in this condition and with the saucers. These are absolutely the prettiest tea cups and saucers, perfect for your next fancy tea party! Homer Laughlin Trellis - pale yellow color dish with 2 different trellis embossed patterns around edges, accented beautifully with the platinum handles . Trellis is one of the several shapes designed for the Quaker Oats company, but was later sold to other companies. Trellis was produced in ivory, yellow, and green solid color glazes as well as being decorated with a variety of decorations as seen in this piece! One of the first shapes designed by Frederick Rhead too! Condition: Very good to excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks and minimal under the glaze crazing on any of the pieces. The yellow glaze varies a bit from each piece, which is common for vintage / almost antique ceramic pottery. Platinum handles are shiny and bright with little use and handling wear. Small glaze misses - again common factory production imperfections. Pieces may have small factory imperfections such as glaze pops, glaze skips, sand bumps, glaze stains, etc - little issues on these almost antique pieces. Beautiful condition. See all pictures.
