The axe shows the fold or hardened front . There is a casting flaw shown. Has no effect in the performanceIm sure, this is a beast. Huge Poll. The point of these was there was little hardwood in the jungles of South America so the use of softer wood would allow the haft to be easily replaced. The word Legitimus is only showing mus and there is some pitting.
