Description: Here is a Bing & Grondahl (B&G) Blue Traditional (Blamalet) Tea Warmer / Heater Number 237 This is a rare and wonderful piece that is no longer produced. The tea warmer was made and hand painted in Denmark in the period 1952-57. The tea warmer base has a faint scratch near the bottom marking, indicating that it was judged to be factory second quality. The tea warmer, both top and bottom, are in excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs. There may be subtle variances from factory production that helps explain the factory second designation. The top piece fits in place and sits nicely level. Minimal signs of use / light wear. Please examine all the photos. The tea warmer measures approximately 3 1/4 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches across. The warmer base bears B&G's popular blue and white blamalet pattern motifs. This is a wonderful piece that deserves its place in any blue fluted / B&G / blue and white collection! Please examine all the photos and reach out with any questions! Carefully packaged in non-smoking, no pets household, and shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
