Condition is NEW 100% FLAT WORKING SURACE 12” x 4” No bow or convex surface. If your looking for a compact SOLID anvil with maximum working area you have found it. This rail is manufactured in the USA! This rail has been heat hardened and has a hardness range of BHN 321-388 it’s hard! Making it perfect for knife making or For a nice jewelers jewelry making shop. See pictures for comparison to standard gauge Track. The two sizes are not even comparable when it comes to working area rebound and mass. Nice smoothly cut edges with crips right angle ends perfect for bends and angles. Will have surface oxidation on sides. Top will need dressed and preserved as you may wish. Surface is NOT 100% smooth as if milled flat. It does have some small grooves and divots from the manufacturing process. May have some sharp edges/burrs from being freshly cut.
