Offered here for auction are prehistoric Indian pottery shards recovered on a private ranch near St John’s, Arizona. The pieces were found as surface finds which is fairly common in that area. They are the product of inhabitants who lived in that area 800 to 1,000 years ago. Several are painted with designs associated with the Anasazi and the shards are of various sizes, shapes and textures. The quarter in the photo gives you an idea of their size.
